According to GOAL.com, Marcelo Bielsa is keen on a move for Gomez, whom he worked with during his time in charge of Athletic Bilbao.
Gomez can play on either wing, but is most comfortable on the right where he can use his skill and acceleration to get down the line and whip crosses in.

The report claims the Whites actually tried to sign Gomez this summer, and are now confident that they can agree a deal in January.
