da esoccer bet: Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has addressed the ‘false stories’ that have emerged surrounding his future at Anfield.
da dobrowin: The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his English club this season – managing six goals and five assists in 37 appearances in all competitions.
Can will see his current Liverpool deal expire at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, however, and it is understood that the two parties are still some way off an agreement.
Juventus have been strongly linked with the German amid suggestions that Can has priced himself out of a new deal at Liverpool due to his excessive wage demands.
The midfielder, however, has suggested that the recent speculation is wide of the mark.
Can posted on his Instagram account:
“Interesting stories about me in the press. I’m no longer going to comment on any false stories or rumours.
“I’ve just returned from international duty with the German team and working on coming back from injury. Looking forward to getting back on the pitch asap.”
Can, who is valued at £25.2m by transfermarkt.co.uk, had been on international duty with the Germany squad, but has since returned to Liverpool’s training complex due to a slight injury.
It is currently unclear whether he will be involved in Liverpool’s Premier League trip to struggling Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
