The report further states that Emerson is no longer a part of the plans at Milan, with Walker having risen above him in the pecking order to become the first-choice right-back. The Rossoneri brought in Walker on loan from City in January with an option to make the move permanent for €5 million. However, Milan now want a small discount on the agreed fee.
Walker, for his part, would be more than happy to extend his stay in the black and red of AC Milan beyond this summer. The England international is well aware of the fact that he does not have a future at Manchester City.

On the other hand, veteran right-back Alessandro Florenzi is also keen to fight for his place at the club and his desire is to extend his contract, which expires on June 30. The ex-Roma man would agree to a big pay cut in order to continue at Milan.
