Southampton suffered a 2-1 defeat against fellow strugglers Crystal Palace at St Mary’s on Tuesday night that dragged them closer to the relegation zone, and Saints fans are all saying the same thing about manager Mauricio Pellegrino.
The Argentine boss has come under scrutiny from the St Mary’s faithful in recent weeks following a number of poor performances from his side, and another followed against the Eagles as they failed to hold on to the lead they took with Shane Long’s first goal since February.
Second-half strikes from James McArthur and Luka Milivojevic wrapped up the points for Roy Hodgson’s men, to leave the hosts only above the bottom three on goal difference.
Southampton supporters were quick to have their say on Pellegrino via social media, and they want him to be sacked now.
While one said he is “out of his depth”, another said “something has to change now or we’ve had it”.
