da prosport bet: Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri will have a big decision to make ahead of the trip to Tottenham on Saturday evening, but first we want to know who you think should start the game up front for the Blues.
Alvaro Morata has been Sarri’s main man so far this year, and his record of six goals in 16 games throughout all competitions represents a reasonable return for his efforts.
The 26-year-old has been regularly questioned during his time at Stamford Bridge though and he missed an open goal in Spain’s international friendly with Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday that won’t have done his confidence any good.
Morata’s competition at Chelsea Olivier Giroud fared slightly better on international duty though and he should be the one who gets the nod against Spurs.
The 32-year-old started both of France’s games against the Netherlands and Uruguay, scoring his 32nd international goal from the penalty spot against the latter.
Giroud also brings in the Chelsea wingers better than Morata and is able to hold the ball up, something that could be crucial if the Blues are under pressure from their London rivals and are looking to their front man to haul them up the pitch.
So, Chelsea fans, who do you think should start on Saturday? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
